ceases along with your seizing of my love
I am starless tonight

until your scarring scathing of my senses
makes tatters of my teetering sanity
I am spineless tonight
and so shall I be for every other night
until your terrorizing of my trembling soul
is to put to a finite end together with
the rest of me
